Korea Seismic Sales Representative, B-Line [South Korea]

What you’ll do:

  • This position is responsible for the management, marketing and sales of the Seismic FP and MEP product portfolio including the Korea market sales strategy and marketing programs to drive profitable sales and margin growth for products in Seismic FP and MEP applications. Responsible for management of the established Korea channel partners to drive their sales growth of B-Line Seismic FP and MEP products and solutions.
  • Manage annual sales for seismic FP & MEP product portfolio to exceed financial commitments.

    Recommend, develop and pursue long term growth strategy and objectives for Seismic FP & MEP products.
  • Identify and recommend new products for development and/or private branding.
  • Manage an established channel network to maintain and grow product sales in Seismic FP and MEP market.
  • Recommend and initiate changes in current product market pricing necessary to maintain and increase sales and profits in accordance with corporate goals and policy.
  • Maintain current and required knowledge of the marketplace to be thoroughly appraised of all new or modified product opportunities as well as developments that may impact products or the ability to sell them.
  • Evaluate product success in the marketplace through direct contacts with customers and distributors. Recommend adjustments to marketing and sales plans when and where necessary.
  • Plan and determine product pricing policy with global product line management, consistent to obtain optimum volume and market position.
  • Recommend and develop marketing strategies and programs along with promotional materials to increase market share of existing products.
  • Analyze competitors' actions, product developments, pricing strategy, product policies, and activities. Prepare and publish appropriate details for use by global product line management and regional sales leadership.
  • Resolve product inconsistencies arising from manufacturing and engineering inquiries, changes in vendor supplies, and customer complaints.

Qualifications:

  • The candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or business from an accredited university.
  • Five or more years of engineering, marketing and/or field sales experience with technical products.
  • MBA is preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Proven examples of product sales development and growth of a product portfolio within Korean market are essential.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of time.
  • Strong commercial skills.
  • Written and spoken English ability.
  • Microsoft 365 experience
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications essential.
