Job Summary

PALFINGER USA is seeking an Inside Account Associate to work closely with Regional Sales Managers and customers, within a dedicated region, to provide customer support on all levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining sales leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and follow-up on customer leads and with existing customers to identify sales opportunities and to provide information about the company’s products.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business opportunities in support of Regional Managers.
  • Identify, maintain and track potential customers and sales pipelines in coordination with Regional Sales Managers.
  • Research external and internal market data and prepare information and create presentations for Regional Sales Managers.
  • Respond to potential customers' questions and send additional information via email or phone.
  • Process requests for quotes provided by Regional Sales Managers and/or customers to define product cost, freight, sell price and lead time for each opportunity. Process quotes in a timely manner.
  • Utilize inventory reports to identify available inventory for immediate customer demand and status updates.
  • Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers.
  • Explain and demonstrate features of products and services coordinate with Regional Sales Managers.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • 5 years’ experience in sales.
  • Experience with liftgate sales, preferred.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees, vendors, and customers. Conduct presentations to customers.
  • Demonstrated experience applying customer service skills.
  • Experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position.
  • Ability to research, gather, analyze and summarize information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Powerpoint and CRM software
  • Ability to achieve targets.
  • Highly organized, detailed oriented to track and enter correct information in system and onto spreadsheets.
  • Ability to negotiate, problem solve and resolve conflicts.
  • Enjoy building relationships with customers and vendors.

Remote Worker Consideration

  • The candidate who is selected for this position must have the capability to work from home in a designated work area with company-provided technology equipment. This position will require occasional onsite office work and may require traveling.
